Let a supported payment start the record for you.
See how Thiqa creates editable purchase records from supported Apple Pay automations and Android BHD purchase messages without reading Apple Wallet or uploading full SMS text.
What does automatic purchase capture mean in Thiqa?
Thiqa can create an editable purchase record from supported payment signals. It reduces manual entry while keeping you in control of what joins your purchase history.
Automatic purchase capture means Thiqa receives a limited set of transaction details from a supported iPhone automation or a supported new Android purchase message, then creates an editable record. It does not mean that Thiqa receives a full itemized receipt automatically.
Current compatibility is designed and tested for Bahrain and BHD. Receipt scanning and warranty organization are broader workflows, while payment-message compatibility can vary by platform, bank, currency, and market.
Three ways a purchase can begin
Each method creates a different level of detail. Thiqa keeps those differences visible instead of presenting an aggregate transaction as an itemized receipt.

Designed to minimize what leaves your phone.
Android purchase detection processes supported new messages on the device. The complete message stays on the phone, and only the purchase details needed to create the editable record are sent to the user’s Thiqa account.
Opt-in: Android SMS Quick Capture starts only after you enable it.
New messages only: Thiqa does not scan your existing SMS inbox.
No full-message upload: the complete SMS text remains on the device.
Encrypted pending data: purchase data waiting to sync is protected on the Android phone.
No Apple Wallet access: iPhone capture runs through the user’s personal Shortcuts automation.

Frequently asked questions
Does Thiqa automatically receive the full receipt?
No. Supported payment capture creates an aggregate record from merchant, amount, and date. To save line items and receipt proof, scan or import the receipt and review the extracted details.
Does Thiqa read Apple Wallet?
No. Apple Pay Quick Capture uses a personal iOS 17+ Shortcuts automation configured by the user. Thiqa receives the merchant, amount, and date for eligible transactions, not Wallet contents or line items.
Does Thiqa read all Android SMS messages?
No. After you opt in, Thiqa listens for new messages and processes supported BHD card-purchase notifications on the phone. It does not scan the existing inbox or upload the full message text.
What happens when extraction is wrong?
The purchase record remains editable. You can correct the merchant, amount, date, category, or other available details before relying on it.
Will automatic capture work with every bank and currency?
No universal compatibility is claimed. Android support depends on recognized BHD purchase-message formats, while Apple Pay Quick Capture depends on eligible iOS transactions and the user’s Shortcuts setup.
